About Roderick Mulgan
Dr Roderick Mulgan has practised medicine since 1989. Developing a keen interest in law and justice, he completed his law degree in 2008 and was called to the Bar in 2009. Since then he has successfully balanced his work in both professions.
Roderick has experience and expertise in the full range of criminal defence matters such as theft, assault and illegal drugs. He welcomes confidential enquiries with respect to his potential representation and advocacy.

About Courtney Andrew
Assisting Roderick from July 2026, Courtney is committed to providing practical, compassionate legal representation to every client she works with.
Courtney has experience across a range of criminal law matters, including discharge without conviction applications, traffic offending, dishonesty offending, drug and assault charges. She is committed to continually expanding her legal expertise and continues to build her knowledge of the Clean Slate applications, sexual offending, parole applications, and disciplinary proceedings before the Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal.
Following admission to the bar in 2023, Courtney worked as a Prosecutor for the New Zealand Police, where she gained valuable insight into criminal prosecutions and court processes. This experience provided her with a strong understanding of how criminal matters are investigated, prepared, and presented, enabling her to approach each case with a well-rounded perspective.
Courtney combines her legal knowledge with a genuine commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients. She values building trusted relationships and strives to ensure that every client feels heard, supported, and confident throughout their legal journey.
